The Kids Research Institute Australia is committed to providing opportunities for health consumers and community members to be partners in our research.
We have people from all walks of life and communities partnering with us to help ensure that the research we do is useful and used.
Currently we have people involved in partnership with researchers and research programs to develop and deliver worldclass research. The activities are broad and includes providing advice on planning for consumer involvement activities in grant applications; helping to write plain language summaries; serving on committees and advisory groups; attending forums and workshops; developing strategies to disseminate research results and advocating for the translation of research into policy and practice.
Support for these activities is provided by the Consumer Involvement Team.If you would like to be involved please see our current opportunities below or find out more by emailing involvement@thekids.org.au.
