Bachelor of Human Communication Science (Honours)

Lucy Donovan Graduated from Curtin in 2009 with a Bachelor of Human Communication Science (Honours). She brings over 15 years of passion and clinical experience working in the disability sector both in Australia and the UK, and in particular working with children using neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Lucy has worked across Perth, Melbourne and London, UK, in a variety of clinical settings including schools, early intervention and NHS services and private practice. She has training in a variety of difference approaches, including SCERTS (Social Communication – Emotional Regulation – Transactional Supports) Model for Autism, HANEN, AAC and Positive Behaviour Support.

Lucy is passionate about empowering families to build confidence and understanding of the vital role they play in nurturing their child's communication.
