Liwen Guo is a researcher and university educator who works with academics, research institutes, and policymakers to understand the social and health impacts of economic and environmental shocks. She believes that high-quality data and rigorous empirical analysis are essential for developing effective, inclusive policies, especially those that protect vulnerable populations such as children.
Liwen has worked on a range of interdisciplinary projects. Her research has been published in top-tier journals such as Energy Economics (ABDC A*), with findings informing discussions on air pollution, childhood adversity, and energy poverty. She has also contributed to policy-oriented research supported by Australian Research Council (ARC) grants and Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) initiatives.
