Dr Maretta Mann brings over 25 years of diverse experience across university, government, private industry and as an entrepreneur, spanning hands‑on research, research and business development, and strategic leadership.
She has a track record of excellence in building multidisciplinary and cross‑sectoral teams to deliver research and translation with real‑world impact across a range of disciplines. Maretta was awarded the 2025 RMIT Paul Taylor Award for her leadership in inclusive research management practice by the Australasian Research Management Society.
As Research Development Manager, Dr Mann supports the outstanding CliniKids team, together with children and their families and partner organisations, to develop, implement and scale research and innovations aligned with the vision for every child to reach their full potential.
She takes a human‑rights‑based approach to her work, is committed to embedding lived experience in research, and is passionate about supporting research that contributes to a more equitable, just, and sustainable world.
