Aarti is the Senior Program Manager at CliniKids. CliniKids is the first clinical service of the Institute, integrating world-class research with a clinical service for young children with autism or developmental delay. Aarti is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the team via the integration of research, clinical services and professional training programs.
Aarti has a strong track record of leading large programs, building partnerships and optimising processes to bridge the gap between research and impact.
Aarti completed her PhD at the The Kids Research Institute Australia in 2018 in the field of allergy and immunology and has a unique combination of core research and project management skillsets, with previous experience as a benchtop scientist.
During her research career, she developed a keen interest in research management which led her to her previous position managing the BREATH Team at the Institute where she oversaw 12 research projects across Australia (WA, NT, QLD), including 9 remote communities. She has developed a reputation for fostering excellent working relationships with Aboriginal communities, clinicians and government organisations in order to deliver on research outcomes. She actively contributes to Institute-wide initiatives and is a key contributor to the Aboriginal Research Standards Training.
