Predicting Problem Gambling in Young Men: The Impact of Sports Gambling Frequency and Internalizing SymptomsYoung men aged 18-25 years are at disproportionately increased risk for gambling problems compared to their older or female counterparts. The unique mechanisms that precipitate these problems in this group remain unclear. Data from the largest longitudinal cohort study on Australian men's health (the Ten to Men Study) were used to identify the psychosocial, health-related, and gambling-related behavioral predictors of problem gambling severity in 265 young men aged 18-25 years. Hierarchical multiple ordinal logistic regression analyses found these predictors to explain a moderate proportion of variance in problem gambling severity.

The aim of this rapid review was to investigate the efficacy of HL interventions for these caregivers.

However, there is limited research that has collected important insights from parents on their learnings for supporting their child's evolving healthcare needs.

A novel skin cancer prevention strategy: Preservice teachers' perceptions of a sun safety intervention and experiences in schoolsTeachers play a vital role in developing children's sun protection routines however upskilling preservice teachers (PSTs) while at university has not yet been trialled as a targeted skin cancer prevention strategy. Hence, this study investigated PSTs perceptions and experiences of sun safety following a brief pilot intervention and placement in primary schools in Western Australia.

A review of Australian Government funding of parenting intervention researchParenting is central to children's optimal development and accounts for a substantial proportion of the variance in child outcomes, including up to 40% of child mental health. Parenting is also one of the most modifiable, proximal, and direct factors for preventing and treating a range of children's problems and enhancing wellbeing.

Prevalence and risk factors of adverse birth outcomes in the Pacific Island region: A scoping reviewPrevalence and exposures of adverse birth outcomes is well studied in low-and-middle-income countries but not well-established for the Pacific Island region. Our study mapped the available evidence on low birth weight (LBW), preterm birth, and small for gestational age (SGA)'s prevalence and their corresponding risks in the region.
