The CIRCA DIEM Biobank

The CIRCA DIEM biobank is a unique collection of biological samples - such as blood, stool and saliva - collected from babies enrolled in the trial.

The CIRCA DIEM biobank is a unique collection of biological samples - such as blood, stool and saliva - collected from babies enrolled in the trial. These samples are carefully stored alongside de-identified health information to support cutting-edge research into early-life health and development. By providing researchers access to this valuable resource, the biobank enables new discoveries to uncover the molecular mechanisms that shape lifelong health, identify new targets for intervention, and accelerate translational research that improves outcomes for children born preterm.
